Penalva Alimentación receives financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) to undertake an R + D + i project.
PENALVA ALIMENTACIÓN S.A. through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) from the European Union, and the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), as a public business entity in charge of the management and development of the technological innovation policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MINECO), has obtained financial support to carry out the “DEVELOPMENT OF A RANGE OF VEGETABLE-BASED CRUNCY ICE CREAMS” project under file number IDI-20190371.
The general objective of the project is the design and development of a new range of vegetable- and fruit-based frozen snacks with an appropriate nutritional profile suitable for consumption at any time. In order to undertake this project, PENALVA ALIMENTACIÓN S.A., has received financial support for the amount of € 181,237.76.
An incentive has been received from the Andalusia Innovation and Development Agency (IDEA), of the Junta of Andalusia, to the amount of € 34.022.50, 80% co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in order to undertake the “Incorporation and adaptation of new digital and communication resources” project for the purpose of ensuring better use of information technologies.
An incentive has been received from the Andalusia Innovation and Development Agency (IDEA), of the Junta of Andalusia, to the amount of € 23,994.00, 80% co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in order to undertake the “Expansion and Improvement of Production Facilities” project for the purpose of developing a more competitive business network.

It has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs and thanks to which it has launched an International Digital Marketing Plan with the aim of improving its online positioning in foreign markets during the year 2021. To do this has had the support of the XPANDE DIGITAL Program of the Granada Chamber of Commerce.
